Murals, illustrations and graphics for
Murie Science and Learning Center

The Murie Science and Learning Center at Denali National Park is part of a national effort to increase the amount of scientific research in the national parks, and thus the effectiveness of science-informed decision making, and to make that science available to the public.

With a facility located in Denali National Park, the Murie Science and Learning Center represents eight of Alaska's arctic and subarctic national parks. The Center is run by National Park Service in partnership with Alaska Geographic and other organizations. Together the Murie partners create science education and research opportunities far richer than NPS could conduct alone.

Karen's new mural appears in the Murie, showing Cretaceous Alaskan dinosaurs, plants and other animals whose fossils and tracks have been found in the park.
